Troubleshooting

No problem! When a live show ends, it will continue to play on a loop in the Meta Player. So even if you miss the live airing, you can still hear it anytime. You can also download your favorite show to your smartphone or computer. Downloads are available within 30 minutes of the end of the live show, and automatically load into your smartphone app once it refreshes (usually within an hour).

Open the SETTINGS on your iPhone and then scroll down to click on PODCASTS. In the Podcasts Settings, you can set your iPhone to only download podcasts over WIFI. You can also adjust the settings for how frequently the phone looks for new downloads as well, which can save on battery usage as well. Keep in mind that if you set the phone to not look for new episodes frequently, the new episodes may take longer to appear in your app for download.

Apple only allows downloads to play on your iPhone through iTunes and the Podcasts app. You can click on the live player and stream the live show through your mobile browser. But if you are seeing a black screen with an audio icon with a line through it, that means you have tried to download the show through your mobile browser, which Apple doesn’t allow.

To listen to a download of the show on your iPhone, you will need to add the show to the Podcasts app on your iPhone. Just follow the instructions to add the show to the Podcasts app if you haven’t done so already.

Sometimes a show doesn’t download properly or completely. Usually, this is caused by a weak data or WIFI connection during the download. But fixing it is easy. If you click on a download in EPISODES or MY EPISODES and you get an error, just delete that episode and scroll down to AVAILABLE EPISODES and click on that. Below the Live Streaming Show, you will see all the shows that are available to be downloaded on your phone. Just click on the episode you want and it will download it again on your phone.

It does take up to 30 minutes to get the latest live show ready to be made available as a download. If it has been more than 30 minutes since the live show ended refresh the show in your podcast app, usually by opening the show in the app and drawing your finger down on the screen.

Also, check to make sure you are still subscribed to the show. If you are not subscribed within the app, it will not download new episodes. If you haven’t listened to any downloads recently, the app will stop downloading shows automatically. You can always see whatever shows are available for download by clicking AVAILABLE EPISODES to see a list of recent shows. Just click on those show titles and it will download the shows for you.

All payments are processed by Stripe, our secure payment processor. We do not see your credit card number and we can’t manually add your credit card number to our system for your own security and protection. Please do not email us your credit card number as this is NOT a secure way to transmit your information and we will never ask you do that.

If your card fails but your card is still active and current, you don’t need to do anything. Stripe will automatically try your card three more times before your subscription is canceled. Stripe also works with your bank to automatically update your expiration date. If your card is compromised and you receive a new card from your bank, Stripe automatically updates your recurring subscription with your new card information. You don’t need to do anything.

If you want to change the card you use on your subscription, follow the links on your invoice you receive from the show or through your account page. If you are a subscriber to Derek and Romaine, Taylor Strecker or Naughty But Nice, you will need to access your account through those sites directly.

To change your subscription, the links are on your Account page just under your current subscription information.
